Virgin Atlantic was a global account. And for the most part we would adapt and implement global assets.

But every now and then, the client would give us a brief.

Normally it would be to advertise airfare specials, direct routes, or it would be to call out key differentiators from other airlines.

Like having the widest seat in its class,

DIRECT ROUTES

We were asked to advertise an airfare special for the direct route from Johannesburg to London.

Since the budget was quite small we decided to reach our niche, affluent audience by using one of Virgin Atlantic's key sponsorships; the Ster Kinekor Cinema. On the opening night of "Skyfall" we disrupted the pre-roll ad space.

This poster was placed in the cinema's refreshment boards, as well as press ads in the entertainment section.
